About the Course

In a world where every brand competes for digital attention, success depends on understanding data and creating measurable growth. Cybersecurity is no longer optional — it’s essential. With global spending set to reach USD 213 billion in 2025 and major talent gaps across cloud, threat intelligence, and incident response. In this course you will explore how cyber-attacks happen, how organisations defend themselves, and how you can help protect digital assets in a connected world. Guided by experienced practitioners, you will engage with interactive labs, real-world scenarios and a capstone simulation of a cyber incident.

Entry Requirments

  • No prior cybersecurity or programming experience required.
  • Basic digital literacy (comfortable using the internet, common-software, understanding basic network concepts) is recommended.
  • Curiosity about how systems are attacked, how data is protected, and an interest in learning practical defence skills will help you succeed.

Assessment and Certification

  • Continuous quizzes, labs and reflection tasks (30 %)
  • Final Capstone Cyber-Incident Simulation Project (70 %)
  • Successful graduates earn a verified 4-credit microcredential (120 learning hours) with transcript and digital badge aligned to EQF Level 5–6
